Hello everyone!
Have you ever wanted to travel to the past or the future? In my case, I´ve always been curious about the past.
History is something that I really enjoy, so I usually wonder about the past. But if you ask me, I certainly have a favorite period of history: The French Revolution. It was 1789, and the French population demanded better conditions of life.
I was in school when I read about it for the first time. I remember seeing the pictures of many people fighting for a common cause. This revolution meant the end of the monarchy of a powerful nation. The death of the Queen and the King was something never seen before, so the impact of that was tremendous.
The French Revolution is an important event, and of course I would like to get back and see it with my own eyes. But let's be clear, I´d just like to go and see. This period is super interesting, but also violent and difficult, the conditions of life were terrible.
I love the French revolution, because that initiated everything, so it would be really interesting to see, but not be there, because after all it was very violent.
ResponderEliminarI'm not a fan of musicals but I have to admit that "Les Misérables" is a great movie. Now speaking of the trip to the past, the truth is that it would scare me a little to live in those times with such high levels of violence.

ResponderEliminarI share your opinion, I also find the French Revolution is very interesting, since it is very important social revolution for the whole world. I loved that you recommended movies based on the time, I haven't seen them bur I hope to do it.
